True Light Baptist is pleased to offer you the convenience of giving your tithe and offering online. As responsible stewards over God’s resources, we encourage you to apply the following scriptural principles in your giving:
- But just as you excel in everything - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and your love for us - see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 8:7 (ESV)
- All the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S; it is holy to the LORD. - Leviticus 27:30 (ESV)
- Each one must give just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. - 2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV)
- The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave. Proverbs 22:7 (ESV)
- Do not give online using a credit card that you carry a balance on and pay monthly interest.
- We only encourage you to use credit cards that you pay off in full monthly, or use a debit card that deducts the funds directly from your bank account.
